Default System question

I picked up a MTX 4202 (50x2) amp for really cheap. I am using another MTX 4202 and the birthsheet is 75x2. My current system consists of:

Alpine 9835 HU
Subthump Driver and Passenger Stealthboxes with Alpine Type-S 10" Subs
MTX 6500D (610x1 @ 2 Ohm)
MTX 4202 (75x2 @ 4 Ohm)
Alpine Type-R Components (SPR-17LS)
Tweeter Pods

What would you do with the 2nd 4202, if anything? I was thinking of kickpanels.

Amp in the kick panels? Very unique.

Let me rephrase this. What I thought about doing was installing a set of components in the kick panels. Would that be overkill since I already have comp's in the doors?

I think it would enhance the front stage. Question is how does it sound now?? My guess is pretty good considering what your working with. So then are you using the amp just cause you have it or because you really want to try to get more front stage sound? Go for it...you can always take it out if you don't like it.

The SQ is not too bad and I am sure some sound deadening will help my midbass. I still not sure if I am going to add a 3rd amp. I wasn't sure if 2 set of components would be over kill for the front stage. The subs do a good job at the low end and sail panel speakers probably would be drowned out anyway.

Walking Dead: How do you like the sail panel speakers? Would they be drowned out by the subs in the rear. Also, I seen your thread and your system looks really nice

Thanks Blacker!! I love the sail panel speakers for rear fill. I only put mid bass and vocals through them...no highs. The EF-8 CDT's I am running are actually overkill. I really only needed the 6.5's to do the job. I have CDT components in the doors that sound great. WHen I had the 6.5" CDT in the sails it sounded even better because it added some depth. I would recommend doing sail panel speakers with a component 6.5 mid bass. 6.5's are at a different frequency than the subs so they don't get drowned out by them. Just another layer of sound that compliments the doors.
