Default Cruise control?

recently my cruise stopped working it was working fine last month. i turn it on then try to set it and it doesn't work, any advice on where to check for loose or unconnected wires?

The most common cause of that problem is the clutch switch or the brake switch being out of adjustment. They have threaded mounts that sometimes get loose making the cruise think that the pedal has been pressed preventing the cruise from engaging.

Mind did the same thing awhile back, and that was the cause.

does anyone have a pic or mabe can describe the location so i can take a look or try to tighten it please?

if one of the bulbs is burnt out on the 3rd brake light it will mess with cruise control mine would work sparatically for the longest time

That's a very interesting idea - especially since the two systems (cruise and third brake light) are not connected in any way.
