system question
Usually a good starting point is to take 70% of the retail price and go from there. Some equipment sells for more, some equipment sells for less.
From what I've seen, people have trouble selling those 1000/1s for anything over $500. You'll have to find somebody in love with JL to pay more than that for it.
The 12" type x sells for $270. You might be able to get $200 a piece for those, but a 2 year old sub can be hard to sell sometimes. I've seen them sell for as low as $150 shipped before.

and that's all she wrote!Or, you could list it at the ebay price, and let them haggle you down to your comfort margin, then you could end up selling it for more then you anticipated.
I was selling some subs that were $180 brand new, only a few months old, and listed them for $125 plus shipping. One guy offered me $90 shipped for BOTH!
For the JL amp, match it with ebay used JL's. If selling private or on a forum, discount the prices by $50 - 100.
they are the alpine type x
