Help installing SWI-JACK

Help installing SWI-JACK I have the PAC SWI-JACK steering wheel control adapter to install into a 2000 Trans Am, but the directions are very confusing. This is not the steering wheel adapter with IR signal. Has anyone used the SWI-JACK? If so, some experienced help would be great.

The SWI-? adapters all come with complete (if somewhat confusing) instructions. You connect to the dark blue wire in the stereo harness. If you have a Sony or Pioneer head unit with wired remote capability, you use the SWI-PS. If you have JVC, Alpine, Clarion, or Kenwood head unit with wired remote capability then you use the SWI-JACK. Otherwise, you can use the universal SWI-X for most HUs that have infrared remote control (a number of Sony models don't work with the SWI-X).
