Sub leaking

Sub leaking The plastic part (cone?) of one of my subs developed a little crack. I think it has been there all along and was repaired by the previous owner (noticed some type of adhesive in the groove. Basically it has a little notch in it and i think it cracked at the bottom of the notch.
It used to be fine But its definately causing distortion now. What are my options to repair this? I was thinking about masking around well and using some clear rtv. Any better options?

The most non-ghetto way is to get a re-cone. I don't know what sub it is, so I don't know if its worth it though. Re-cones are generally cheaper than buying a new sub though, but you get all new soft parts.

I fixed a torn cone on a 12 in my home stereo system. I used white Elmer's school glue. You know, from elementary school? It dries clear and is super flexible. I know it is a rigged repair, but I was never able to blow it out after that. Zero distortion.
