Finally found a good use for the back seat!! After 4 days of non-stop building I've finally finished (except for door panels) my stereo system. I built a new back seat using the factory brackets and leather covering. It holds (1) jl audio 1000/1, (2) jl audio 300/2, & a alumapro 15 farad cap. It has four fans in it to keep it cool. There are MB Quart 8" mids & focal tweets in the doors & the rear sail panels & a Focal 5 1/4 k2 for a center chanel. There are (2) jl 12w6v2's each in there own boxes made by www.subthump.com (Great to deal with by the way) mounted in the rear pockets on each side. The radio is an alpine iva-d900 w/ xm radio & navigation. There is an audio control eqs & master volume control for fine tuning. It sounds better than I ever expected! I'm sick of working on it so I'll wait a month or so than I'm building new door panels for better staging with the eights, & building new kick panels for a pair of 5 1/4's. But for now I've done what I set out to, an *** load of stereo wquipment crammed in the ta totaly out of sight. Thanks for reading, my girlfreind doesn't seem to care much about it & I figured someone in here would.
Re: Finally found a good use for the back seat!! I didn't take any because there is nothing on the surface to see except for the front of the subs. everything else is hidden out of sight.

The actual setup uses 1 foot cables to join up the boxes but I had to have it up front to tune, so that is when I had to use 10 foot cables to get the eqs up front. The pic behind the glove box is where I fit the tv tuner. There are 6 amplified antennas under the head liner. And there is the pic of the seat folded down where the wires to all of the amps are visible. And there is the cheesy little temp panel I made to hold the volume **** & the switches for the seat heaters. Now I wish I took picture while building everything. Next time I take the seat cover off for whatever reason. I will take pictures.
