Window switch wiring
Window switch wiring So I have an electric cutout and I want to wire up an extra window switch that I have for it. Its proving to be a pain because I cant figure out what prongs of the 5 that are on the back to put power or grounds to. So can anybody shed some light on this matter.
I am doing a window switch so I can put it up where the ASR and fog light switch is. Also because its a rocking switch.

If you're using a driver's side window switch, connect your power supply to pin F. Then you will have output on both pins B and D when the switch is pressed up and output on pins C and E when the switch is pressed down.
If you're using a passenger's side window switch, connect your power supply to pin A. Then you'll have output on pin C when pressed down and pin D when pressed up.
If you're using a passenger's side window switch, connect your power supply to pin A. Then you'll have output on pin C when pressed down and pin D when pressed up.

Here is the view of the wiring harness connector looking at it from the "business" end (the pin sockets side). You will have the mirror image when looking at the switch itself - so A and B will be reversed, and C and D will be reversed.
