speaker question

speaker question i have a 2000 trans am ws6 which has the monsoon sound system in it. now im sorry if this is a dumb question but it has me a little confused. the speakers right behind the sail panel (hope its called that they are right next to the rear seats). anyways are those speakers suppose to put out any sound or be more bass? the ones in my car done put out any sound but act like 2 small subs. i thought they might be blown at first but any time i had a blown speaker it always made these weird noises but these 2 speakers never did.

The speakers in the sail panels (beside the rear seats) are 6.5" subs. This and lots more information is in the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the forum.
