FM Modulator Issues (iPod)
FM Modulator Issues (iPod) I recently hooked up an Audiovox FMM100A FM (the one that's hardwired in with the switch to byspass the antenna) modulator into my 98 Z28. I got the adapters to go from the larger antenna jack to the smaller GM one. I made sure that there were NO attenuators (sp?) in any of the wires, since the iPod is fairly low level output.
That being said, I am getting very little sound out of the iPod into the stereo. I have to turn the iPod volume all the way up and the radio up higher than normal to hear much of anything. Radio still works normal when I switch the bypass off.
Anybody know what's going on here?
