Default Resetting Air Bag Light?

I replaced a turn signal switch, which requires removing the steering wheel.
Ever since the the air bag light has been on.
Has anybody else run into this?
How do you reset the light? What could have potentially gone wrong?
I've rechecked all the electrical connections, and they're fine.

I couldn't find any good information searching the forum.

My light is also intermittent. If I drive straight for a long stretch it turns off, but if I make a lane change or make a turn it comes back on.

I read in the Haynes manual there is a way to recenter the airbag module. It is the only thing I can think of to try. Anybody have any other suggestions?

I think that you might have messed up the clock spring for the air bag when you were changing the turn signal switch out. I think your going to have to take the steering wheel back off and see if everything looks normal, not quite sure what to tell you to look for though...

I finally fixed it.

I had to reset the air bag module, which is a clock spring. All you really have to do is take off the steering wheel and pull out that air bag module. You flip it over and on the back side it has a release spring. You basically depress it and turn the unit until it bottoms out one direction. Then you go back the other way 2.5 turns. The outside of the unit lines up to some notches at the top of the column, and the inside will line up to the hole for the leads to the horn. This will be obvious once you get 2.5 turns because they will be close to lining up. Once that was re-aligned, I put the wheel back on and the light went off.
