RCA need help fast
Hey guys I have a question.. I bought an adjustable Line Output Converter today so that I can finally get some decent bass out of the TA.. Heres my question... It came with instructions that said " Gray wire(+) and gray/black wire (-) to the right speaker output of the source unit. Connect the white wire(+) and the white/black wire (-) to the left speaker output of the source unit" The unit has 2browns, a white, a white/black, a gray, and a gray/black wire coming out. DO I take the gray and connect it to the right (+) wire from the head unit in this case the Dark blue wire, and the gray/black to the (-) on the harness in this case the light blue? and same with the left side to the left rear outputs? AND should I use the rear speaker outputs, or the front? I know the two browns are grounds and do not have to be used..... All I need to do is cut the wire and connect both ends of the cut wire to the wire from the converter right?
My next question is about the adjustable part, how do you know if you need to adjust it, and what would adjusting do to it? I know these seem like newbie questions, but I have actually done car audio installs, just never with a converter.. thanks for your help!!!
