Default I need a dash kit....

A single din, but every time I look for these parts...

99-3009 - Camaro 93-96/Firebird 1993 and UP dash kit
99-4544 - '82 and UP GM multi-kit with 1/2 DIN EQ option

It displays a radio kit, you know the ones with the two *****?

Can someone send me a link of where to go to make sure I get the right one please? I need a good one where the radio sits nice and flush.

Thanks, installing a new deck soon!

those are both correct, you will break off the two **** plates in the hole to leave a rectangle for the radio cage to slide in

That's what I figured, just trying to save the hassle and possibly cutting myself with a box cutter.

don't use the multi kit, 99-4544, it will stick out

use the other one for a flush mount

I had the same problem with my Dash kit for my 00 T/A. To solve the problem I ended up getting a dash kit for an 01-02 Firebird/Camaro, it fit just and it was flush...

Any time I cut plastic like that I use a Dremel with a cut off wheel. Leaves a clean edge and goes through it like butter. Just sand a little when your done. Another vote for the flush mount kit...that's what I did as well. I also have to mention the HU Mount which is probably the nicest mount made for going 1.5din to a single din opening. They are not cheap though and prices keep going up. Just search this forum for HU Mount for an example...there should be dozens.
