Default Purple wire behind gauges?

If you tear out the gauges and expose the wiring behind the dash there is a group wires and one is a thick purple wire. Anyone know what it's for? Not the thin one just the really thick purple wire.

The only two purple wires in the instrument cluster connector are both purple with white stripe. The smaller one is the fasten seat belts indicator signal. The larger one is 12V power from the STRTR minni-fuse under the hood. It is used as the crank input signal.
