hardwiring an xbox
hardwiring an xbox okay so im putting an xbox in my t/a and i want to know if there would be any problems tapping into the power seats wire and cutting the power cord to the xbox and connect them? would i get a surge or anything that would short out the xbox or would it be fine? im doing the same thing to my sirius.

Your car is about 13 volts DC. The xbox input power is 120 volts AC. You'd need a power inverter for a car to convert to the right input.
I guess the question is, why are you putting a console in your car? And where are you putting the TV for it?

I have a 6.5" in dash pioneer that i am putting in, also i am building a sub box on the rear deck where i am putting in a 10" and i am putting the xbox next to that.
