sound deadning woes?

sound deadning woes? well i did the frost king insulation in the back hatch only. on person sead 5 rolls for his whole car.... well i used three just in the back hatch with little overlapping . i also had a piece of dynamat and put that on the hatch itself under the big piece of plastic with the hatch latch. now i noticed no real improvement in sound. the exhaust still resonates inside and rose noise seems the same.(i notice a t-top rattle now 
and yes i have subframes)
now my ? is to notice anything do i have to do the rest of the vehicle? im sure thats what it is but still im a little disappointed it didnt seem to help any. any comment, assurance, or slams welcomed.

Re: sound deadning woes? multiple layers will make the most difference.
I used 120' over the entire car, with 3-5 layers in each door. Made a huge difference on midbass impact.

Re: sound deadning woes? Tapout: Are you saying that one layer of dynamatt won't do anything for our cars? I was planning on doing the entire car to get rid of the road noise. I'm talking taking out the seats and carpet and doing the entire car including the floorboard, doors, side panels, hatch, spoiler... etc. Will that not do anything to silent the road noise? It will probably take about 5 door kits to do the whole car. Even at cost it is going to cost me about $200. Is it worth it? And what about the added weight?
