stereo gurus inside. ? for you.... what do you think of putting in line high level crossovers on the factory speakers say 80 hz and up(12 db octave)
removing the rear hatch fill speakers and high passing them to run some tweeters up front? (location unknown as of now)
then im making a box for the passenger side well to mostlikely hold a 12" kicker L7. and lowpassing that for 80 hz down.
how do you think that will sound? it should help the monsoon amp alittle and help with factory speaker distortion by cutting the deep bass out and letting the sub do it. any thoughts?

Re: stereo gurus inside. Well SQ would be better by cutting low level freq's. I'd go with 24db/oct x-overs as the cut will be sharper.
I thought the Monsoon system had some tweeters in the mid panels in the back seats?
IS sounds like you just are gonna get a low pass x-over to run the sub off the back speakers...
