Slow blinkers?

Default Slow blinkers?

What causes your blinkers to be slow. I was once told an easy fix but i no longer recal what it was. Any help will be appreciated

i think that means the bulbs are going out or that 1 all ready did

If one side works fine but the other doesn't then it's likely a bulb or corroded socket. If both sides have the same problem then it's probably the flasher. Flashers are just a couple of dollars at any auto parts store. It's clipped to the right side of the opening under the dash when you remove the knee panel under the steering column.

I already changed the bulbs. ill check the flasher when i get out of school today

Usually that results in them blinking fast, not slow. I have had one case where the directional would just stay on, though.

On F-bodies (and other cars with 2-pin thermo-mechanical flashers) the side with a burned out bulb will go on but not flash. The faster flashing symptom of burned out bulbs applies to some cars with electronic flashers and many newer vehicles with turn signal control modules rather than standard flashers.
