Does it do the same thing when arming it using the door lock button? Alarm going off for no reason just after arming usually means the shock sensor is bad - try unplugging it temporarily and see if it stops.

If the alarm was already set when you hit the lock button, its normal for the alarm to sound. I get it too. Sometimes when I'm approaching my car I accidentally hit the lock button instead of the unlock button and the alarm sounds. If this is the situation you are experiencing, it is normal.
