Monsoon Automatic Volume increase thingy..

Monsoon Automatic Volume increase thingy.. Stock Monsoon system issues. Isn't the thing supposed to get louder as I go faster automatically? Well.. it's not. So I am constantly reaching for the folume controls between shifts. It also doesn't help that I did headers and Borla.

On the outside of the volume **** is the adjustment **** for the SCV (Speed Controlled Volume).
Needs to be in the upmost position for full effect. When it's in the lowest position, it's off.

Re: Monsoon Automatic Volume increase thingy.. sound like its missing or removed. it may have been removed with it on and some how you adjusting the volume **** may have disturbed it.
try pulling off the volume **** and look for a lower coggy thingy and turn it clockwise and go for a ride. hope this helps.

Re: Monsoon Automatic Volume increase thingy.. Who cares? That speed sensitive volume thing was crap, all it did was get alittle louder it never was a really good idea. Just turn your stereo up louder and leave it there. Which by the way all factory stereos suck. The only good one I heard was a Ferarri 575M and that really had factory Alpine parts. BLOSE and MONSHIT are just amplifiers and crappy ones at that.

Dream Car Rentals, on the strip across from the Frontier, has available a Ferrari F355 available for $750.00 per day. Dodge Vipers are a little more reasonable, at $400.00 per day. I can support the claim that all factory stereos suck. I was not impressed.
Re: Monsoon Automatic Volume increase thingy.. im pritty sure only corvetts have that feature but your monsoon will turn itself down if it sences distortion. your best bet is to rip it all out and do something bit more impressive then you wont be stuck fumbling with the monsoon's meadoker sound and features
