wiring gurus inside please. i need help. ok basiclly i want to be able to activate my nitrous switch at the track but not have it actually come on while the clutch is depressed. (i have a 2 step which allows me to go wot as long as my clutch is depressed) here is my diagram for my nitrous so what do i need to do so that it wont activate until the 2 step deactivates (clutch is released)
I don't really see how you could use the clutch safty swith for activating your nitrous since all it dose is switch current to the starter relay coil that is grounded by your bcm when you depress it. You could make your own switch that would ground your arming switch to the chassis when the clutch pedal it not depressed.

wire your activation switch in with your factory clutch switch as its switch. if the factory clutch switch turns off when you let it up which is when you want to activate your nitrous then you would want to reverse wire a relay and have your nitrous lead on the resting terminals (which is normally closed when the relay is deenergized) so that when you let off the clutch your factory connection is broken therefor the relay deenergizes sending it back to its resting state which you have wired up to connect current through your nitrous setup. if the factory clutch switch is a ground signal or 12 + it doesn't matter you can adjust the relay activation accordingly.

The factory clutch safty switch cuts current to the starter relay fuse when its not depressed. In order to use the safty switch with a relay he would have to use the safty switch (when depressed) to activate the relay mag coil (85/86). Then connect the old safty switch 12v to 30 & 87 to the starter relay fuse. 87A will go to activate you nitrous when you release the pedal and cut current to the mag coil and the relay switches from 87 to 87a.
