When you say one in the rear...is it on the drivers side built into the plastic panel? Where is it exactly. Someone may have swapped a Bose rear panel in there possibly. Need a little more info.

It sounds like you have an aftermarket system installed or maybe a base audio system that has had a sub added to it. The Monsoon system has a small (4") speaker on each side in the hatch area.
Check your door sticker for option code U59 to confirm you have a Monsoon system.
BTW... 2 doors, 2 sails, and one rear = 5 speakers.
