Hack job stereo install So I get around to taking my deck out today to see if I can figure out why only 1 speaker in my entire car worked. Get it all out and I laugh instantly. Whoever did the stereo install, cut off the harness adapter on the CAR side, and tried to wire the aftermarket deck harness directly to it. Now anytime I've ever installed a deck I've left that part along, got an ADAPTER that you wire into the deck harness and KABOOM it works. Any tips on where to start? I'd like to get my hands on the harness plug on the car side and put it back on, SOMEHOW, and try to do this the right way, but this thing is such a mess. I'll get some pics up soon. I may take it to an audio shop and just pay them to fix it, because this **** is so fucked up its scary.

I would think it would be pretty easy to get one off of a salvage car. That can't be a part people want very often so I wouldn't think it would be hard to get a used one very cheap.... I would call junk yards.
