Soldering in RCA inputs for MP3 player
I got to looking at the wiring diagrams for the HU, and was wondering if I could just snip the wires and solder in some RCA connectors.

C2 - Black 9-pin connector for CD changer
7 - not used
8 - not used
9 - Bare - drain wire
10 - DARK GREEN w/WHITE - right audio signal
11 - BROWN w/WHITE - left audio signal
12 - BLACK w/WHITE - audio return
13 - BLACK - ground
14 - DARK GREEN - power
15 - not used
Could I just add the inputs to wires 10 and 11 and be good? Or is this thing more complicated than I think?
I already know about the PAC connector, but I'm cheap, and the radio is only gonna be in the car for a few months while it's on daily driver duty again, until I can buy a beater, so I don't want to spend that much cash.
Any help from you guys would be great.
P.S.
Oh yeah, and the my setup is stock Monsoon HU, used to have the CD Changer, but sold it a while back.
I came up with another method though that works with a $3 jack and a little work:
