what size alternator?
what size alternator? Well it's time for me to replace my alternator finally from the stock one, and a while back i purchased a 12" 7500 thunder MTX 400W dual coil bullshit, but i eventually will get around to putting it in (once i can find a box that will fit and the right size amp for cheap) but i was just going to ask, since im going to be replacing the alternator, i dont want to buy one that doesnt have enough power, but i don't know anything electrical. Any suggestions? Oh and also, is it standard to buy new wires for the alternator when you get one.... thanks

I don't know alternator brands as well as some of the other guys here so either search old posts or wait for someone else to respond for that.
For wire, you really need to upgrade it if you upgrade your alternator. Go for 2 gauge at least. 0 gauge will be better. I recommend weldingsupply for wire. 4 gauge will probably be fine to run back to your amp but it depends on what you get.
