Default replacement speakers for monsoon system

I want to replace the speakers behind the seats(the 6.5 inch) but all the aftermarket ones are 4 ohms and the stock ones are 2ohms, I am staying with the stock deck i just want to replace those speakers for a little better sound. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Franny40,

Unfortunately, GM didn't make this easy for you to do.
Because the stock system is amplified and is designed to work with the stock monsoon speakers, you're kind of stuck with them unless you are willing to make additional changes in your set up. If you are then, I recommend replacing the stock head unit, or adding an amp to power your "new" speakers with the stock cd player etc. I work for an electronics retailer and this is sometimes the best option, although, there may be other options worth considering. If you want more help, pm me etc.

Good luck
