If u want only not to have it at the track, Then just pull e brake up one notch before turnin ignition on or cranking it. This will disable the sensor but at same time not ingage the brake.

You can unplug the daytime running lamp module thats
located behind the radio, or you can solder a jumper wire on the module to disengage the drl funcntion. Another trick is to remove the photo sensor in the defroster vent, and run a wire instead. You can find details on all these tricks at Steves SS #670 website. Try running a search for SS #670.

Good Luck

At the track, I always pull the fuse.
It's the #2 fuse (yellow 20-amp) in the main fuse block in the dash.
The marking lights will still come on, this just keeps the headlights from coming on.
But with this, you can still manually turn the headlights on.

Thank you, I'll give that a shot. It is easy and non permanent.

hey ill tell u all how to do it the easy way. if you look in the middle of your dash in the camaro, there will be a little slotted area thats for cooling the dash stuff. if you look close on the right side of the slotted area, you will see a little dime-sized peice of plastic with a little photocell in it. well pull up the dash in the crease just behind the area, and you can twist the sensor out. when you unplug it, stick something metalic in between the 2 contacts and tape it up. that will close the loop of the circuit and disable the auto lights. if u cant follow this then go here http://www.xse.com/leres/ss/drl.html
