big problem!
well i was changing my bulbs in my heater controls to led's this morning... and i began to remove my HVAC, and i kinda forgot to disconnect the battery because i never really thought i could short anything out by just changing the bulbs.... sure enough though, just as i pull the HVAC controls out, not even touching any electrical wiring or anything, my speakers make a popping noise and it sounds like i blew a fuse to a set of my speakers or something... the thing is though, there are no fuses like directly in the back of my stereo, and the one on the side of the dash there is fine... there are two long circular fuse holders or something like that that are in my wiring harness that are like inline fuses that are for the yellow wires coming out of my stereo, and im guessing one of those is bad, but i have no idea how to open them.... they have two little retaining clips on the top, but they dont feel like they should come out...
any idea?
also, i can kinda hear music when i play my fm or out of my sirius radio on auxillary, but cds dont put out any music... and when i change the volume up and down it makes a small popping noise, and somewhat gets louder or quieter when i go up and down... not very much, but enough to tell...
i also checked to make sure all of my connections in the harness were tight and together and that no wires were loose...
also, those in line fuses that i was talking about in my radio's harness... one of them is a 3A and one is a 15A
