Onstar my renewal is coming up in 4 months or so. to be honest I really dont use it for anything that I can think of, and I'm sure they would renew me if I was stupid enough to lock my keys in the car. any good reason I should keep this active?

Your choice of course - hear all the advertisements on local radio stations about lockouts, make sure your gas cap is on tight for the code, etc. Personally I wouldn't bother, but my girlfriend is buying a new GM because of it.
