Sain panel speaker question!!

Zup everyone! My sail panel speakers just took a dump. I have a Alpine HU w/ a 800 watt amp connected to a 10' sub. Since I already have bass can I just replace them with regular speakers(I got some Alpine speakers that have the tweeter in the middle) without any changes or do I have to rewire stuff? How will it sound. Thanx!

You will have to rewire the sails to get full range sound from that location. The Monsoon amp puts out bass only from there. You can simply not use them and see how you like that. I actually like the sail area for midbass because to me it bridges the gap from the front to the rear. Opinions vary on this and it is a matter of perferance though.

agreed - I still need to figure out my midbass... comps up front aren't cutting it right now, but midbass implies money...new amp....etc..
