You should really make this link in the stickies, or make it a stickie itself because there is at least once if not twice a week someone asks about "Sail Panel" speakers.
fredmr39 made the thread posted below and he seems very knowledgeable on stereo type of stuff.

I will update as necessary - making it clear that there are other options (i.e. Ian's DVC option), and whatever else can help or is contributed by others.
