3rd gen with a monsoon I got a 91 TA ver't that i want to put a monsoon H/U in. I Want the stock look so no one will cut the top to steal and after market radio.
Will a monsoon work?[plug and play] i know the monsoon uses the 21 pin plug and my stock[91] looks like it But is missing the top 7 pin's. Not sure if i need the monsoon amp. Will the monsoon H/U drive a 4 speaker setup that came stock in the 91 TA?

Yes, there is absolutely nothing special about the "Monsoon" head unit. It's just an ordinary Delco head unit with a Monsoon sticker. The uniqueness of the Monsoon system is all in the amp and speakers.
The HU will plug right in and support whatever speaker configuration you have. You'll probably have to swap the side brackets off your original radio onto the new one (or they're available at the dealer for about $4 each.
