Re: How to turn off the stock security system? Using the unlock button on your remote or manually locking your doors. The power locks activate the sercurity system when used to lock doors when key is out of ignition and door is open.

If for some reason the chip reader in the tumbler is out you can wire in a resistor, in line, with the same value as the chip in the key. Although, this method is a little hacked together.
can you expound on your difficulty a little bit?

Re: How to turn off the stock security system? the security light is on when I get in the car most of the time...not when I put the key in..it want start and I have to wait about 3 min before it resets...it is ticking me off! How can disable the whole security system??? I'm so tired of this crap!
