Using remote wire from the amp connections?

Using remote wire from the amp connections? Im installing another amp to my system for the front speakers.
Can i use the remote wire from the 1st amp, and just tap into that wire and use it for my other amp, instead of having to tapping into the remote wire from the headunit. I have a pair of rca'a that don't have the remote wire attached to the rca wires.
