Default Any experience with Kicker CompVT 08CVT654

Followed the stickies on the R-F speakers to find they were discontinued in 2004. Crutchfield recommended the Kicker CompVT 08CVT654 for the sail subs in my '99 Formula WS6. Mounting depth of 2 7/8" is better than some others I have seen on the forum. Any better suggestions out there?

I carry what you need for your sail panels in your WS6. These are direct replacements and work with the stock Monsoon. Wiring is the same and they put out way more bass then your stockers. Crutchfield doesn't have a clue what really works with your car. Just what size goes in there and that's about it. Even then they will recommend soemthing that needs adapters to fit properly. PM me and I can get you squared away.

I just installed those in my Z/28 last week. They sound awsome. They are 10X's better then the stock crap and some of the aftermarket stuff that I have bought and tried as well ( :Cough: :Cough. I would highly recommend them. This ( dual voice coil 6.5S (4-ohm + 4-ohm) subs mounted in the sail panels ) is all you need to know. They fit snuggly but perfectly.
