98-02 taillights conversion I need help trying to get the ls1 taillights to work on my 1993 camaro z28.
i bought the tailights and wire harness for the lights and hooked everything up and the lights dont work correctly. when i turn on my lights and turn signals they work fine, the only thing thats wrong is when i apply the brakes for the stop lights my turn signal light works as my brake light and still also works as the signals too. could it be a rewire thing???????

To convert from taillights that have the turn signals integrated with the brake lights (like the 93-97 models) to ones with separate turn signals (like the 98-02 models) you have to run separate wires for the turn signals. You can't just use the wires that are already in the back because you'll get the symptoms you described.
