? about an LCD in a vert(had a minor thought)

So if one get's the bezel made to allow a double din deck, gets a nice TFT-LCD deck say a JVC, KW-AVX810, installs it, will the thing be viewable with the top down?

i have the alpine iva-w200. installed like you want yours, when the light hits it with the windows down it bleaches it out so its hard to see. hope this helps.

i have a jvc screen but is a 1 din, when the top is down you can't see it because of the glare, but you can adjust the screen up and down which makes the screen viewable!

Have no experience with the JVC units but have a LCD/TFT screen for my carputer, you might want to look into the 3m films which are discussed here

They do help some with the sunlight. Managed to get a sample from 3m

- but have seen them on ebay also
