A/C Cutout switch
A/C Cutout switch My ZJ (98 Grand Cherokee) has a feature in the HVAC system that I really like, a button for the A/C- so I can use any setting/area of output without having to engage the A/C (except the defrost- argh).
What would be the best method to go about installing a switch to completely disable the A/C from kicking in when not pushed in? I am not so concerned about another switch for it in the ZJ but in my firebird- currently I can't use the dash/floor option without the A/C kicking on- bad for this beautiful time of year. I would prefer and on/off pushbutton.
