Adding more negative battery connection I'm adding an extra 4 gauge line off my battery to the chasis and am looking for some opinions. There is already the one grounding bolt/nut directly back from the battery. I'm debating adding another bolt in the unthreaded hole next to that, or just adding to the existing bolt.
Does that bolt have adequate size and contact area to add another 4 gauge worth of grounding? If not, is there anything I should keep in mind when picking a bolt for the other hole? Or does anyone know where I can buy one of those bolt/nut combos that the car already has?

You can get ground connector things that have 2-3 holes to bolt/screw it into the chassis and then have a place to put a 0-4 gauge wire with a set screw. If you want a better ground, I'd probably use one of those. Make sure to scrape paint off where you put it down. And use dielectric around it to help prevent corrosion.
