Alarm problems
Alarm problems Hi,
I am trying to help out a guy here in the UK with a 1998 TA.
He says:
Ok, as far as I am aware, I have the factory standard alarm in my car. It has the 4 button key fob too if that helps.
Anyway, I have had no problems with it at all until last night when for some reason it has started making 2 horn sounds every 10-15 mins or so. Understandibly my neighbours aren't impressed...
Any ideas?

Unplug the shock sensor on the right rear wheel housing under the plastic quarter trim. The vast majority of alarm problems are caused by the shock sensor going bad. If unplugging the sensor solves the problem, he can decide whether he wants to replace it or just leave it unplugged.
