Default 4th gen Door speakers?

Are the door speakers in the 4th gens 6.5" or 6.75"?

If they are 6.75", can a 6.5" be used in place of? Are there brackets available that will accomplish this?

Any opinions on Infinity components (like/dislike)? I can get a good deal on a set of the $300 Kappa sets and am thinking of replacing the Rockfords (they suck....really...) I have now.

the door speakers are 6.75 but most people end up using 6.5's.

At most you may have to make a trim ring to mount the 6.5's

If you are driving them with the same power, i.e a Headunit or the stock Monsoon you're really not going to notice that much of a difference. Get an external amp and drive them with a good, clean, source of power. It'll REALLY liven up the speakers you already have. Too many speakers are FAR underpowered and perform like *** when the are.

I have a Panasonic Head unit (DF88EUC) and two Alpine V12 5 channel amps (F353)....

a big problem is I have too much power for the speakers I have...
