Default Monsoon Button Lights - how to replace???

Has anybody replaced the button lights on the monsoon head unit?

Several button lights are out.

What type of bulbs do I need, do they need to be soldered on to the board???

Thanks in advance!!!

My seek button lights went out too. I talked to our electrical engineer here where I work and he said with something like that more than likely there is a circuit board with little bays in which the buttons control the stereo. On the same bay or deck there is going to be an LED or something a little less bright. You would have to open it to see what bulb it is and take it to Radio Shack and match it up. This probably didn't help much but I figured I'd give you any info I could. I've actually got mine figured out... it's 2.3 degrees and 4 minutes west according to 6th gear. Pretty sad when you need to GPS your stereo buttons. jk
