need new drivers side power window motor does anybody know were i can go get a motor for my car? and how much would it cost to buy a new one and install it thanks

I got mine from Advance (or was it Autozone?) for $50, guaranteed for life, and I had a dealer install it for another $40 or $50 bucks. Worth it IMO, I took the door panel off to try and do it myself and I realized I didn't have a drillbit to drill thru the door, into the rivets, etc. Plus the plastic sheeting was being a big bitch. Regardless, I just bought it myself and took it to the dealer.

Nothing to it if you have done it a few times.. I watched my mechanic do it and it wasn't that easy. Don't tell this guy how easy it is.. He's asking about where to get the motor,so he's green putting one in. 99 Black,it isn't that easy! Its not fun. If you don't have a rivet gun you have to use nuts and bolts..You might need someone to hold the glass up for you also and its not light.. 45 mins to put in if you have been there done that and you are very mechanically inclined.. 1 1/2 to 2 if you haven't done it and no help! Take it to a shop,its a pain in the *** to do!
It was the first one I had done and it is not that hard there is a sticky with photos and discription on how to do it...I followed the instructions and drilled out the rivit and used a nut and bolt with locktite and for the last year and a half it works like a champ...get a piece of wood to hold the window up ... but I have been turning wrenches for close to 50 years too...I change spark plugs in 25 minutes and everyone else on here cries about how hard it is and it takes them hours..just go for it dude it is not that big a deal..don't be skeeeered ..

well i found one for $50 at ebay thats the cheapest so far if anyone else know a cheaper place please post them, and the cheapest installation is $80 bucks at a local shop, basically thats all i need right just the motor no other stuff right?
search again.

It is easy. I've done it a few times. Took less than an hour the first time and even less time the second time. Check out the sticky.
