Default Would this work for an aftermarket stereo setup?

Alright well ive already ditched the monsoon HU, im running a 3 year old pioneer 3500. everything else is stock. I was thinking about going with some 61/2 components up front and those kicker 6 1/2 bass only speakers in the sails. could i just ditch the rear speakers...i mean would it sound ok without em?
I was considering getting a 4 channel amp to run the 4 new speakers...does 35watts x4 at 4ohms sound like enough? RMS that is.
on top of the new speakers i was also going to get a stealth box for driver side only and run a 10" infinity kappa.

any help is appreciated. thanks guys.

The speakers would fit fine, you may have to make a small trim plate to get the 6.5's to fit in the front, but that depends on what brand you go with for your components (some have a bigger basket and will fit the 6.75 hole with no problems). You can go without the speakers in the rear, but if you do that and only put 6.5 woofers in the sails then realize that you will have no vocals from the rear of the car. There's nothing wrong with this in my opinion because I don't sit back there. Just something to think about.

Oh ya, the RMS needed will also be depended on what speakers you choose. If you keep stock, then 35 watts would work, they may even take a little more, not sure on that though.

check out the kenwood 5-chanel amp, it has 4 chanes for the speakers plus one for the sub. It is a way to hook up 6 speakers to a 4 chanel amp, I just dont know how, lol. Go to a stereo shop and ask them a couple of questions about it.
