do all camaro's come stock with the 6.5 door speaker? i opened up my 02 SS and it has oval door speakers.. i was able to rig up the 6.5 speaker but it doesnt fit very well and kind of rattles

 

If it has 6x9s or 6x8s they are not stock....6x5 was in the doors on all camaros.

 

well they did a good job! cant even tell everything looks stock except for the speaker and wiring. how can i find out if its a 6x9 or x8? the speaker i pulled out doesn't have any kind of identification number. i know they are Memphis power reference...

and i think it might be a 5x7?

 

It could be ..I was just guessing 6x9 are usually oval...but others are as well lol

 

could be a 5x7 or 6x8 or even a 4x6 if they are oval. get out a tape mesure.
if the stock plastic mounting plate is messed up give ian a call at keeaudio hes a sposor he can make some mdf plates for ya.
