CDT excursion videos
Hi guys,
I know several of you have purchased the CL-E61 component sets and wanted to share something I found about them that I thought was kind cool. This link is to a video of a guy who has the same drivers in his doors. The EF-6 is the same driver as the CL-E6, CDT changed the name when they came up with the Classic series line and included these drivers because they are very good. These are also a special price of $179.00 for a limited time.
Anyway this is a good video of what these drivers are capable of. It is a little short but it was kind of cool to see them in action.

I also have the CDT ES-06+ on a special buy for $259.00/pair for the time being as quantities are limited on these but this is an insane deal as these normally go for $459.00. Aftermarket amplification would be a must for these and they do have 3.37" of mounting depth.
Check out the excursion (15mm max) from this video:

This is from a 6.5" woofer that has a range of 10-4000hz.

Hell, why not!! I'd submit it.
The M-6's do have more excursion then the EF-6 (CL-E6) but they are made for that kind of range as well and it does show. They are rated at 10mm of xmax. The CL-E6 is likely around 6-7mm at the most but does do well for some solid kick drum.
The ES-06+ however is a beast with 15mm from a 6.5" driver.
