stereo problems

stereo problems well i just got my 99t/a a4 and it didnt have a stereo witch is good cuz i want my own in there but anyway
the moron that had it before me took everything stereo wise out! so when ever he had what stereo he had in it he ran his own speaker wires to all the speakers.but my question is is there anyway i can hook up my new stereo and use my volume controls and things on my steering wheel??

Yes, this has been discussed countless times. Depending on what make of head unit you get, you can use a model-specific adapter such as the PAC SWI-PS (for Sony and Pioneer units) or SWI-JACK (for JVC, Alpine, Clarion and Kenwood) or you can use the universal PAC SWI-X which works with most models that have infrared remotes.
