Alpine IDA X300 Problems
Hey All,
Having some problems with my new-ish Apline deck. Everytime I try to tune to Sirius satelitte radio (which is run through the Ai-net cable to the deck) the deck says searching and then 'locks up" and won't let me hit enter any menus or adjust volumn up or down. I have to remove the faceplate and hit the red reset button for it to come back to normal. Radio tuner and ipod work just fine as long as I unplug the sirius stuff.
Anyone have any experience with a problem such as this? I'm wondering if its becasue the sirius reciever power and ground are piggy backed off the deck harness as well as the fan switch. I know Alpine decks are power hungry so could this be the by-product of not enough juice? I mean the deck works fine if i remove all the sirius stuff.
