siruis antenna I can seem to find a good place to put it. I tried underneath the cowl, under where the defroster is. i have a 2000 z28 so i cant put it on the shock tower. Then the roof is fiberglass and so it the hatch. so that leaves me with the 1/4 panels and the hood lol. any info guys?
I put my magnetic (XM) one under the front dash-cover.
Pretty simple actually, and gets as good of a signal as my friends BMW with factory sirius antenna.
Steps:
1. Remove passenger side A-pillar cover
2. Lift front dash-cover (it's stuck on with velcro)
3. Insert antenna
4. Install A-pillar cover

If you put it under the dash cover near the windshield on the small metal panel in the corner, you should get excellent reception. I moved mine from the roof to the dash and get just as good reception as I ever did. If you don't, check that the cable hasn't been pinched or something - those tiny coax cables are very delicate and break very easily.
