Broke EF

Ok Im doing a remote start in my 2007 Cobalt LS (no options) Im installing a Hornet (DEI) 569T along with a DEI PKUGM2X bypass unit. So I got it in, and working with only a couple small issues. First off when I turn off the car with the key OR with the remote start the starter tries to restart, Its not a full on crank, more like not enough power half assed attempet. Next is its flashing the headlights and not the parking lights. According to two different wiring diagrams I have the right wire for it, just isnt right. Im mostly concerned with the starter thing though. FYI it is a manual and for testing the clutch switch is tapped down to trick it (this is only to see if it would start, and isnt going to stay like that) also the brake "kill" wire isnt hooked up. ANY information is GREATLY apprciated.
