Here it is finished. Tack welded in four locations, verified shaft straightness with the a lathe and then welded it together. It did take some effort getting the shaft out though.

Doing a 99 Camaro build and planning to remove all the weight I can from it. I've decided to run a glide and I picked this up yesterday for $100 which was super cheap. What all does it need take to make it handle say 850-900 fwhp? My fear is that by the time I spend all the money getting what it needs for racing I could have bought one already built by a professional. I have been quoted $1600 to rebuild it which includes the 1.76 planetary, a deep pan, better pump and a TCI trans brake which to
